Jesus’s hour is ours too. Passions call for vulnerability. To fall, to be supported. To be chastised. To be comforted. To be in trial. To transcend. To walk through darkness with our cross. Where lies mock truth. Where flattery of success suffocates the intimate call of honesty. Where a lack of success questions the honesty of our path. When we lose our walk that orients us to God. Where we don’t recognize the face of Jesus’s own humanity. May we follow Him always.

To act despite uncertainty

To forgive despite being hurt

To live despite death

to create despite destruction

to hope despite despair

to heal despite pain

to unite despite separation

to be strong despite weakness to be resilient despite resistance

to love despite fear

to be human despite cruelty
